At Anuma AI ("we," "us," or "our"), we respect your privacy and are committed to being transparent about how we use data. This policy explains what cookies are, how we use them, and your choices regarding them.
2. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer or mobile device when you browse websites. They are widely used to ensure websites function efficiently and to provide usage information to site owners.
3. Cookies on this site
The tables below list the cookies used on this site, grouped by the consent category that controls them. Only the “strictly necessary” group is set before you make a choice in the cookie banner; everything else is set only if you accept that category, and nothing in the analytics or advertising groups is set at all if you select “Reject All”.

Analytics

Advertising and referrals

4. Third-Party Cookies
We use a small number of third-party providers to keep the site running, understand how it's used, and credit referrals. We do not use these tools to track your personal identity or to collect Sensitive Personal Information (SPI).
- Google Analytics — aggregate, anonymous traffic measurement. See Google's Privacy & Terms.
- PostHog — product analytics for the marketing site and product surfaces. See PostHog's privacy policy.
- Rewardful — affiliate-referral attribution when you arrive via a partner link. See Rewardful's privacy policy.
- Prefinery — waitlist signups and referral attribution, used only on the People Nearby waitlist pages. It stores a referral cookie (“_pfy_…_referrer_code”) when you arrive on a share link, so the person who invited you gets credit when you sign up. We do not load it on any other page. See Prefinery's privacy policy.
Rewardful and Prefinery are both referral trackers, and we load them on separate parts of the site: Rewardful across the main site, Prefinery only on the People Nearby waitlist pages. Each records a referral only when you arrive on a link carrying its own referral parameter, so they never attribute the same visit. Neither loads at all unless you have accepted marketing cookies.
The exact cookies each provider sets, along with their expiry, are listed in the tables in Section 3 above.
5. Managing Your Preferences
You have the right to accept or decline cookies. We ask before setting any non-essential cookie, everywhere in the world, and nothing is pre-selected — until you make a choice, or if you choose “Reject All”, no analytics or advertising cookie is set.
- Cookie Settings: You can change or withdraw your consent at any time by clicking the "Cookie Settings" link in our footer. Withdrawing a category reloads the page so the scripts already running are stopped, and deletes the cookies they set — withdrawing is not just a promise about the future. Visitors in jurisdictions covered by CCPA / state privacy laws can use the "Your Privacy Choices" link in the footer to revisit their choice.
- Browser Settings: Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can modify your browser setting to decline cookies if you prefer. Where required by law, we will obtain your consent before placing non-essential cookies.
- Google Analytics Opt-Out: To opt out of being tracked by Google Analytics across all websites, you can install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
